Clearly, LASIK eye surgery has been around for a while, right?
It seems like everyone knows someone who has gotten it by now, since the routine surgery was introduced to the United States in the early 1990s. And we have all heard the stories and seen the comedy bits about what can go wrong.
But no worries, after almost twenty years of practice, the FDA has made the decision to check up on this surgery and see what the deal is with all the side effects. (more…)
